The only way to rumble in Wii games is using dolphin bar and Wiimotes. Stable versions are released once every year or two, while Development versions can be released multiple times within the same day.If you want to play it super-safe, you can use a Stable version, but I highly recommend simply using the latest Development version and updating once every week/two weeks. Modern rumble should only send an "on" command when rumble is activated, then an "off" command when it is time for rumble to stop. Test is with Mario Kart Double Dash, Everytime the rumble is activated during a course, it slightly impacts performance and frame rate slightly drops. Just steel wieghts to make it feel like a quality product when it's actually a piece of shit. The hardware on the SeX is pretty beefy, I would imagine it would be able to handle it, but I'm not sure if the RetroArch core would support it.
